In a lot of forums, you see people mentioning that you will have a CLIST/REXX routine already available in your company that can be used. But initially we will not be aware of where to find these. In this blog, I have few posts (mentioned below), that I use daily and had them added to one of these datasets that holds all the current CLIST/REXX routines.

For this, on the ISPF command line, enter the command “TSO ISRDDN”. This will open a window that has list of datasets allocated to different system DD names. The ones (DD Names) that we are interested now are the “SYSEXEC” and “SYSPROC”. One of the datasets under these DD Names would be the one that has all the inbuilt CLIST/REXX execs.

Please see below link to know how to setup your REXX PDS. This is nothing but adding your PDS to the list of datasets that are already in SYSEXEC/SYSPROC.

HOW TO DO REXX INITIAL SETUP (Add your exec PDS to SYSEXEC or SYSPROC)

Below are different REXX execs details that are available in this blog.
